Back in the early 1980’s, Amy was the most dominant all-around female athlete in her time at Old Rochester. Limited by few options for girls locally, she took up volleyball, basketball and softball when entering high school and was dominating competitor immediately. Amy was not to be denied in sports. In fact, she was the first ever girl to play Little League Baseball in the Town of Rochester.

As a Bulldog, Amy Beaulieu was a four year member of the Lady Bulldog Basketball Team that had an unprecedented success run from 1978-82. She served as captain in her senior year.

The four year run included 4 straight league championships in the SMC with a record of 47-3 and an overall record 75-16 and 4 trips to the South Sectional Finals.

During her three year varsity career, she started at the small forward spot often drawing the toughest defensive assignment. Her defensive prowess and tenacity on the boards earned her SMC All Star status during her junior and senior years and Standard Times Super Team recognition her senior year.

"Amy was one of the finest defenders and tenacious rebounders in the 41 years that I have coached the Lady Bulldogs"… ORR Coach Bob Hohne
