Josh Smith

Josh Smith played varsity tennis at ORR for four years (1996-2000) for Coach Jim Merchant. He was undefeated as a sophomore at 2nd singles as well as for his Jr and Sr years at first singles. He ended his tennis career at ORR undefeated in singles play ,50 and 0.

His amazing singles play record is posted out on the ORR tennis courts .

While in high school, Josh worked as an assistant tennis pro at The Sippican Tennis Club under Chick Renfrew. He also worked at the Marion Indoor Tennis Club for Alex Pavao.

Currently Josh is a college advisor and tennis coach at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn. He and his wife, Sarah, and four-year-old son, Langdon, live nearby in West Cornwall, Conn.
