Coach Chuck Michaud

Chuck Michaud was the head Hockey coach at ORR from 1985 until 1992. He took over a program that had no system and few wins. He grew the program, helping gain statewide respect for hockey in southeastern Mass.
The team became a yearly contender or champ in the SCC and a regular visitor to the post season coming to within a game of the finals one year and leading the team to undefeated in the conference one year.
He also was an assistant coach for the successful football and baseball programs. A true testimony to his popularity stands outside the ORRJHS in a roller hockey rink built with funds raised by his colleagues and players. Chuck was born in 1958, passed away in 2000.
