Jason played 2 years of varsity football and 4 years of varsity basketball at ORR. On the field, he was a utility back for the 1994 Super Bowl Team as a receiver and runner on offense and played defensive back on defense.
 
In his senior year he stepped up to the quarterback position when quarterback Matt Sherman broke his collarbone. Jason's ability to catch a football in a crowd was duly remembered by coach Sherman...
 
jasonIn basketball, he started varsity for 4 years, and was captain of the team in both of his jr.and sr. year.
Jason broke Antone Mello's all -time school record in points scored. Captain in his senior year, he was voted Standard Times and All-League Honors for 3 consecutive years.
 
 Jason went on to be the leading scorer on the UMD basketball team during his junior and senior years and selected to the All-Little East Conference first team both years.
 
Jason scored over 1,000 points (1,493) during his career at UMD and was chosen as the MVP of the 1998 Little East Conference tournament.
 
Jason also played wideout on the football at UMD in his senior year.

jasonJason currently works as a teacher in an alternative high school down the Cape and coaches football at Fairhaven High. He and his family live in Fall River.
