Cornelia at Field Hockey 1971

2014 ORRAHOF Inductee

Cornelia Dougall was one of the most outstanding female athletes to attend Old Rochester Regional High School. She played a role paving the way for many outstanding female athletes to follow.

She was the physical fitness record holder in her freshman year. She won the MVP trophy in field hockey and in girls basketball in 1968. She was the MVP in field hockey and in girls basketball in 1969.

She was a member of both the Narry League track  team and field hockey Championship teams in 1970 and again MVP of girls basketball in 1970-71.

Her nomination form calls Cornelia a  "gifted multi-sports athlete" from a time when "girls' sports were neither promoted or supported".  Still, she excelled!
